Day in the Life, September 1, 2013

Here we are at the beginning of another month.  And that means another photo an hour, day in the life post!  I really love documenting my days this way.  As usual, I take all my photos with Instagram.  Yes, my profile is still private, but if you ask, you can follow along with my shenanigans.  I take all my pictures on the first of the month.  I don't plan anything special for the day.  I simply document one day a month, hour by hour.  Yesterday, Dennis and I were both off work again, so I used his baby watching skills and went on a DIY binge.

DIYers never sleep

Actually, I did go to sleep not long after this picture.  Jack woke up once to nurse, but I pretty much slept through it and didn't take a middle of the night picture.  We were all exhausted!!

up and at 'em

Yesterday I had one of the most productive days ever!  I'm so glad Dennis was able to help with baby duty so I was able to DIY to my heart's content. I think realizing Jack's birthday is next month (whaaaat?!?) has finally motivated me to get this place ready for a par-tay!  Nothing like a baby to light a fire under your butt.  How did your start your September?

  1. Love all the DIY going on! Can't wait to see the end results :)

    1. Thank you! I just hope I can keep it up. I'm notorious for getting 85-90% done with a project and then not doing the last little bit. That seems to bleed over to the blog; I'll do something, want to write about it, and when I finally get around to it, it's been months since whatever it is I wanted to write about actually happened! Procrastination is my spirit guide....

  2. All those DIY projects are so impressive! Love what you were doing with that dresser!

    1. Thank you! I just hope I can get the dresser done before *ahem* the end of the year....

  3. I love watching your IG feed on these days.

    1. I really appreciate that. I look forward to doing these posts all month long.

  4. I love these posts! I REALLY have to get my butt in gear and do one already! PS: I finally have a smartphone and an IG account, so I requested to follow you. Yay!

    1. You should totally do it! I just followed you back, too, btw!
